Just about summed it up in that PDC was a impact manager and possibly not looked on as a permanent fixture which sort of makes sense but why let him sign so many players?

Mate, we set all this up in the summer, there were announcements. Maybe the club thought the average football fan would know what a DoF set up was all about and decided against releasing a step by step guide to role of a DoF.

This. The plonkers like Owen and Sheela ranting on about costing us a fortune to get rid of Di Fanti and Angeloni shows their ignorance of how the DoF works. Only the manager/coach and his 3 or 4 backroom staff will be picking up severance cheques and they wont be massive imo. If it was RDM then he would bring in 2 or 3 of his backroom staff and we move on with no problems.

Agreed. I think Kilbane is very reasonable actually and far better than the other 2 dicks.
