I was watching an old video on youtube the other day. The one where Keegan came out on the steps of the ground to defend the sale of Andy Cole and the purchase of Keith Gillespie. In hindsight I have to come to assumption that KK made a huge f***in mistake with that deal. Watching Cisse I am amazed at the similarity between him and Cole and what may have happened if we had kept Cole instead of swapping him/plus cash for the compulsive Gee Gee Gambler Gillespie. As time moves on I am coming to the conclusion that Keegan was not thinking straight when he did that deal. I know that the Ruddy Faced Galaswegian Lush could not belive his luck when KK agreed to sell our prized asset. Lets hope that history does not repaet itself!!

He knew he was going to bring Shearer home and Cole was shagging 16 year old girls up here at the time.

Ferdinand proved a more than adequate replacement, and Gillespie was a great winger. At the time I was upset but we only went from strength to strength.

Plus Cole probably wanted to go anyway.

Cole was in with a bad crowd in Newcastle and was taking cocaine heavily Keegan moved him on for that reason.
