    According to some reports in France,we have made €10m bid for Kevin Gameiro. :)
    However,he doesnt seem interested with the Premier league. :(

    Oh I hope so.

    Does anyone think we'll be offering wages higher than Lorient and other French clubs? I really have no idea what top 10 french teams pay their players on average.

    Sigh. Pardew did say he had made efforts with players who might want to go to CL clubs and he was hoping a few of them might come to Newcastle instead? Hope Gameiro changes his mind and comes haha

    He's a decent player but don't rate him that highly, Sturridge would be my first choice striker and then maybe Ba.

    Hope this is true, and hope we can twist his arm. I've resigned to thinking we're probably not gonna acquire any of the Gameiro/Gervinho caliber players we've all been wanting though...

    Newcastle offer 10 million euros

    This will be one of the major attractions of the summer market. Lorient has not really fixed price. Its scope is narrow because the player has one more year of contract. Reportedly, Newcastle has recently made a proposal to the tune of 10 million. But for now, this is not the priority of the player, who remains focused on Valencia. Problem: the Spanish club does not seem willing to go beyond 6,000,000 as was already the case in January. Rest PSG, who made &#8203;&#8203;one of his priorities. Antoine Kombouare has already spoken with the player. If he did not join Valencia and in case of qualification for the Champions League, Paris would be his priority. Remains whether the Parisian club have the means to achieve its ambitions.

    I'd be so happy if we could land Gameiro, he has a superb strike rate this season of 20 goals from 31 appearances!
