I know there's a theory that he's another old crock with a patchy scoring pedigree....

.....I think he's going to do it for us-recapture his old form and knock in his fair share.

My reputation's on the line here - OK, I haven't got a reputation on here-but even so you can all rip into me if he doesn't deliver !

    But he will.

Yes I think you are right. Also our Irish contingent will help him. Would like to see him play with AJ, could surprise us all.

Doyle and Maiga up front could just get us over the line. Both scored on their debuts

Great debut by Doyle, not just his presence and good link play with AJ but also his off the ball workrate. When he's fully up to speed should be a real asset on our run-in...

He's a clever player with nearly 60 odd international caps. He'll bust a gut for us every time he puts on our jersey. It's an absolute no brainer.
He's spent most of his career playing alone up front.

Excellent player who looked like he was at home and had played in the team for some time

One training session and great work rate

Future looking bright and should get a few goals and can get us into a position where we challenge for the title

Great first half, ran out of steam in the second. Once he's match fit he'll be a real asset.

Showed a strikers instinct getting across his marker for the 1st goal and linked up well with AJ once he gets his fitness up he maybe the answer to our scoring problems

He has showed he could score goals at the start of his playing days
for the last few years he was playing in bad team that lacked confidence and played alone. Every game he always gave his all even watching him play for cork city he was a crowd fav due to his honesty and work rate. There is a chance he could get 10-15 goal this season and a certainty to give his all. Pity he wasnt signed a couple of seasons ago..

I don't think we should get too carried away.

Great debut and the goal should fill him with confidence. He's not a Charlie Austin but he may help get us over the line.

    Again fair point.
I don't think that anybody is getting carried away. Decent debut but must continue to work hard. Giving his quality and experience he was worth a pint. May or may not be a success

They're called Flyerisms. Comic value and nothing else.
