    @John__Percy 4h
#lcfc have made a move for #Wolves striker Kevin Doyle. Deal could also see Martyn Waghorn move to Molineux #wwfc

If he plays like he did for Reading or when he first signed for Wolves he would be amazing signing in this league

Im very confident no first team player will leave

If we get Doyle then Nigel would have do brilliantly under the restrictions to keep who he wanted to and still manage to sign Dean Hammond and Kevin Doyle with only really Ben Marshall leaving

Doyle for Waghorn sounds pretty reasonable, think Doyle will run closer to a starting place than Waggy will, and no doubt Waggy will do well in League 1.

I think Jeff Schlupp wont be considered as a striker any more. IMO he is alot better then Konchesky

Nugent, Wood, Doyle and Vardy would give us alot of options going forward

In an ideal world tomorrow we will shift at least 1 of Konchesky, Futacs, Gallagher and Danns

If Nigel really wants another striker then I wouldnt rule out a loan bid for Billy Sharp. Nigel was prepared to pay 3M for him 18 months ago

Southampton have told him he is surplus to requirements and it looks unlikely they are going to manage to sell him

Rumours that Forest want Nugent for 2.5m

    For that price i'd sell.

Bring in Sharp (I rate them both around the same) for half the price and bank the rest.

No one will pay 2.5M for Nugent

His missus is set to give birth so I doubt he is looking to move as both a happy and settled in the area

Nuge said the other day he wanted a new contract

Great move by you lot if he plays like he did for Reading.

Surprised that nobody seems to have looked at him in this window whatsoever.

Not often you see Nigel go for this type of player

Clearly Nigel thinks we lack a little know how up front with Vardy very inexperienced and Wood still a young lad. Nugent is the only one with experience

Kevin Doyle was superb for Reading and for Wolves in his first season

Things seem to have gone stale at Wolves for him. A very good move for Waggy aswell

Now if it was Sako ... Doyle's another journeyman ... will do OK but better than Wood or Schlupp?

I don´t get this it´s a bench warmer for a bench warmer. I was at the Wolves v Crawley game with my bro in law & most ppl, according to him, want him to leave because he´s very, very warm & cold. He´s on abit of money aswell & Wolves are be looking to get rid. He´s abit lazy so I understand.

I dont think Nigel sees Schlupp as a striker. I think he is now the first choice left back

My wife is a Wolves fan and is delighted he's going

His wages are high so Wolves want rid

With Nugent, the new Vardy, Wood & Doyle - at least 1 is going to be disappointed

I think LCFC are trying but the Doyle/Waggy deal seems unlikely as Doyle is on big money at Wolves and reluctant to leave

Have to agree with you there Fosse. Surprised Sako hasn't left already to be honest.

And Doyle... Was good in his day, but hasn't been good for a while IMO. Would almost prefer SEB on a free transfer actually!
