Who you may say https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kévin_Constant http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/qpr-started-talks-in-recent-hours-to-conclude-next-signing Italian website Tuttomercatoweb claim an exclusive on Tuesday, saying that QPR have kicked off talks to sign free agent Kevin Constant. Tuttomercatoweb say the London club started talks 'in recent hours' to conclude a deal for the player, with there being no transfer fee payable. Constant had been playing for Trabzonspor but his contract was cancelled after disagreements over unpaid wages and related financial benefits. We're a little suspicious that this is actually Tuttomercatoweb's exclusive, given that Constant spoke to French newspaper L'Equipe, for an article published this morning, and confirmed QPR had invited him for talks in London, with the Championship club being one of several sides around Europe showing an interest. Tuttomercatoweb's claim comes very soon after L'Equipe's and it appears to have upped the ante, just enough for it to warrant the tag of exclusive.
Played for Milan a number of times which is impressive, but then sold...so maybe not so impressive. Worries me slightly that his contract has been cancelled du to unresolved financial issues. If he hasn't been paid then fair enough, but if he just wants more then please let's not go with that so to of player again.
QPR in talks to secure deal for experienced free agent image: http://2.gravatar.com/avatar/b0caf79ba40124c8ecf9b146e3e63073?s=30&d=mm&r=g please log in to view this image Date: 12th January 2016 at 6:39 pm Written by: Tom Percival | Comments (0) Football News 24/7 Sky Bet Championship side QPR could be set to bring in free agent Kevin Constant, according to talkSPORT. image: http://cdn.footballleagueworld.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/kevin-constant-600x338.jpg please log in to view this image The ex-AC Milan defender hasn’t had a club since his contract at Turkish side Trabzonspor expired in late 2015. Although there has been interest from clubs in Ligue 1, QPR are still hopeful that they can persuade the Guinean to make the move over to England and join the Championship side. The attacking full-back made 45 appearances for the San Siro giants between 2012-2014, before making the move across to Turkey. Constant is only 28-years-old, so Hasselbaink would be hopeful that if a deal is struck, he has the potential to be a regular fixture in his side for the next few seasons to come. QPR currently sit in 16th place in the Championship in what has been a disappointing first season after relegation. The appointment of Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink hasn’t had the desired effect, but he will be hopeful that a strong transfer window can turn around his side’s fortunes and they can begin to climb the table. KD Lang is getting very excited about the prospect apparently she is getting Constant cravings...........................tumbleweed................................
I read the same at first. He'd be great for two matches a season, one home and one at Molineaux with the sports headlines all reading "Dances round Wolves." Sorry, I'm clearly cracking under the strain.
