Lighten the mood, Slapper! Ben Fogle's drink was spiked and he went doolaly!! He tweeted: "Whoever spiked my drink with mind altering drugs and put me in A&E with a psychotic fit. Did you think of the damage you would cause?"
I can safely say, I have never heard of Kevin Ayers before, but I have heard of Ben Fogle! Haha that would have been funny to watch!
Soft Machine were probably second only to Pink Floyd in British Psychedelic music, you don't have to be 70 to like them. I was given some LPs when I was 15/16 one of which was by them. That led me to seek out records by Gong, Caravan and solo works by Robert Wyatt and Kevin Ayers. His first two LPs are two of my very favourites.

Funnily enough Robert Wyatt of Soft Machine has been in a wheelchair since he climbed out of a window on acid. Shame on anyone who wishes such a fate on Ben Fogle.
