Kerry win the minors 1-14 to 2-7. Very tight first half. Mayo looked the better side. Kerry won the second half well.
Great game, both teams should have won really but they both bottled yesterday. Whoever wins the other semi will be taking home Sam. Kerrys first minor final since 1994, its a pity they are going to get smashed in that too.
It's not a pity. They are a shower of bastards. Harsh to call Mayo bottles after that comeback. They looked like they had the smarts to see it out. To have list woulda been rough.
I know its a bit harsh but they were a few up with not much to go and should have seen it out, I was rooting for them, I would much rather play them then Kerry in the final if we can get past Donegal. There's a bit of a mess now about the replay venue for Kerry v Mayo. Wee Martin McHugh reckons its a bigger balls up by the gaa than the Gareth Brooks fiasco
Well done Kerry and Donegal who were both superb in their victories and may the best team win in the final. Great games also, shame we have to wait until so late in the season to get some decent games to view but always better late than never. The final will be interesting tactically, Donaghy is the fly in the ointment as that long ball can by pass the intense Donegal defence and create opportunities but Donegal looked good on the counter today also, a good blend and a good final game to decide who brings Sam home.
