Recently noticed Kerrea Gilbert who was on loan with us in the 2006/07 season and seemed such a promising player has just signed for Yeovil until the end of the season.

A few other players brought in that season and who have now almost disappeared without trace are.

Nick McKoy- played last season with Kettering Town and back in the football league this season with Northampton.

Matt Green-last season Oxford Utd/Cheltenham(loan) this season Mansfield Town(loan)

Warren Feeney-last season Oldham this season Plymouth Argyle.

Joe Jacobson- last season Accrington Stanley this season Shrewsbury Town.

Andrea Ferretti-played for A. C. Pavia(Italian Div 3) last season, this Spezia Calcio (Italian 2nd Div).

Luigi Glombard-last season Chamois Niortais(French 4th Div) relegated to non league .

Iwan Redan-Sparta Rotterdam 4 appearences (relegated to the Dutch 2nd Div) this season Almere City ( Dutch 2nd Div)Capacity 3000.

Mark Howard GK-last season St Mirren this Season Aberdeen.

Scott Allison GK-last season Hartepool .

Just goes to show how difficult it is to make it in the footballing world .

Wasn't Gilbert caught being a naughty boy with someone's wife or daughter and had to leave town very quickly.

I thought he showed a lot of promise at the time and was surprised he didn't make a successful comeback from "injury".
