He seems to slide under the radar a bit, and dont get me wrong, he has been great for us.

But imo he needs to be dropped for Cerny. I honestly think he would be saving a fair amount of the goals that we have conceded of late, when you consider his performances v the likes of Utd, Liverpool etc..

Kenny should have done better for both of Wolves goals last week, and I thought maybe im being harsh on him. But again today, he took a step to his left before the first and second which prevented him from saving them. Thats basic stuff really. He had no chance with the 3rd, but I do think he needs to be saving these and getting down to the shots alot quicker.

Interested to hear others views. It seems like we are easy to score against.

Agreed, he was awesome last season but has come up short (literally) on a few occaisions this season. Cerny was superb in his recent stint. Kind of wish we did go in for Gomes now.

Problem is all Premiership players (Goalkeepers included) need to be real athletes' and Paddy is just not a natural athlete. I know he has worked hard on his weight and fitness but at this level he is being found out a bit.

Look at my thread I posted this week, he is awful, I mean Ikeme or Tony Roberts awful. Nearly every shot goes in, he has no movement or agility.

We will go down if we stick with him. Wed have won that game with Cerny in goal.

No we would not have. Paddy is not Prem standard. Sad but true. But don't blame todays result on him. Thats a silly comment flyer. Our team is malfunctioning across the board. We can't defend, we are conceading goals to beat the band. It's not all Paddys fault.

I said this on twitter today and lots agreed. I thought cerny did really well in the 3 games he's played this season and I'd be a lot more confident with him playing at the mo than paddy.

We cant defend? we limited them to 3 shots on goal and of course all 3 went in, that points to an awful goalie and its no coincidence he is right near the bottom in goals allowed per 90 mins played and save percentage.

Cerny would have saved 2 of the 3 at least, the 1st was especially poor. Kenny was average at best but hes no better than a sunday league player with the injury hes carrying. Swap the goalies and wed have won 6 or 7 goals to 1 today.

I think if you look at Robinson, he pulled off a crucial save from Adel and generally was sound with everything thrown at him, without his quality Blackburn would be certs to go down by now, you could say the same for Wigan with Al-Habsi, Bolton with Juicy and Wolves with Hennessy who's wonder save from Adel gave them all three points...

Seems like no Ranger is going to be safe for the next fortnight.

Cerny in the blue hat, Murphy wearing the green.

Thats a bit of an understatement, he saved us a couple of hammerings in the games he played.

Im glad to see im not the only one then! Before the season started, I like many thought Kenny would be one of those who could make the step up. Warnock even thought he was in the top 6 keepers in the PL!

We were all downbeat when he got injured earlier in the season, but Cerny was awsome, and imo did not deserve to be dropped.

The 2nd goal should've been saved.
