Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish says the club is "totally and utterly" behind Luis Suarez after Patrice Evra accused him of racism. The Manchester United defender claims Suarez verbally abused him during the 1-1 draw at Anfield on Saturday. Continue reading the main story We are looking forward to a complete, transparent report from the FA and we will co-operate 100% Kenny Dalglish Dalglish has also defended the Uruguay international against accusations from Sir Alex Ferguson that he is a diver. "Obviously the two things are emotive but we support the wee man on both things," he said. "Everyone at the football club is totally and utterly fully behind Luis Suarez." Earlier this week Liverpool said Suarez, 24, "categorically denied" the accusation, and the striker wrote on Twitter that he was upset by the allegation. But Ferguson has said Evra is "adament" he wants to pursue the allegation. The France full-back, 30, is believed to feel television replays will prove his case. The Football Association is investigating the claims. PFA's Gordon Taylor ready to mediate in Suarez-Evra race row Dalglish said: "We are looking forward to a complete, transparent report from the FA and we will co-operate 100%." Evra did not raise the allegations with referee Andre Marriner during the game. The official only received a complaint after the match when Evra, accompanied by Ferguson, asked him to put it in his official match report.
It's an easy mistake to make...
It's sad that it has come to this. It appears the battle lines are being drawn. I somehow feel that it won't be reloved to anybody's complete satisfaction.
Look at the photograph on the BBC site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15392053.stm and ask yourselves, what did the referee hear? He was standing right by the pair of them. Evidently there was an altercation, but no claim of racism was made to the referee after the match. So...
According to the BBC the charge was made when Evra accompanied by Ferguson visited the referee AFTER the match
Haha the comments are always funny on YouTube. This video on the side was quite humorous aswell.
They did that in southpark too, what was the guy fking thinking, D was so obvious to try, where did he get n from?!?!?!?!?!?!
Cracker is OK though, I mean, when other races are minorities fair enough, not the case with non caucasians these days is it. Some very high profile stars in american are racist, Spike Lee Lauren Hill to name but two but noone fkn cares bacause they say cracker as long as whitey doesn't say n(*&^r .Here's a funny thing, after slavery was abolished in the USA All the slaves then went and enslaved the african people in what became Liberia, and lived their lives just like the white folk in the south, with big pillared porches and fk slaves. Go Figure eh Make a movie about that SPike Lee why don't you. Sing a song about it Lauren then why not.
Not saying it didn't happen but surely sky, FA and manu have searched the video footage by now? and if there was evidence I am pretty sure we would know about it one way or another. What is the word on the official FA investigation, have they said when they will be passing judgment on it?
The last I heared was that they were going to interview Evra and ask him to produce his evidence. Where or when that interview will take place I don't know.
again the understanding is the fa have interviewed mr evra on the matter and will not even ask suarez about it unless evra brings anothe rplayer or person along who heard these alleged comments. the fact is nothing happened, no reaction at all until suarez caught him in the corner having embaressed evras several times through pure skill... it seems from that moment evra lost it. The fact suarez patted him on the head is not proof of any words either... after all the guy pulled rafaels hair at old trafford to wind him up.... until proof comes to the table of any sort this is an ugly he said she said type of deal. It does the kick racism out of football campaign no favours, it does neither party any favours either. I think personally had mr evra gone with his manager or however it happened to the FA and formally complained and left it at that then that would be fine and we would hear about it when the FA dealt with it but Mr evra went to french journalists to spread the story which suggest that he left he wanted to put it on suarez.
Regardless of the outcome of this one and its likely the evidence isnt there it seems like the FA are more interested in saving face. Something that seems to be the norm with the FA though. Suarez should be interviewed though.
