Kenneth and his representatives have been in talks regarding his future following his request to leave the club earlier this month and chairman Nick Higgs yesterday confirmed that those discussions are set to resume now the defender is fit and available to play again. The Post understands that the club has already made Kenneth an offer to mutually terminate a contract that still has over 18 months left to run. Higgs said: "We have talked around that possibility, but there is a long way to go on that to be honest with you. Garry is interested in going back to Scotland, as far as I am aware, so there is a possibility he may go out on loan or he may well leave the club. Garry has been injured for the last couple of weeks so we are set to pick that one back up when he reports back for training. He is pencilled in to play in a reserve game." Want-away defender Kenneth has been injured since limping out of training with a groin problem on October 7 â but could feature as part of a development side scheduled to take on Portsmouth, weather permitting, this afternoon.
