Anyone want to forgive and forget his ways with social media?
It's a no from me. Reserves at best.

Is this the Son thing and liking that joke post where he suggested he was Sonaldo? if so whichever fans were upset by this should be taken into Newcastle City Centre and flogged with a rusty spiked metal bat. If we are going to be that sensitive then I suggest we just shut the club down now and be done with it. What a bunch of ****ing fairies. Boo hoo one of our players liked a social media post after a loss, and was insensitive to our fans feelings. Literally I have no words to describe such 'fans'. There are a lot of things to get upset at in the world and related to Newcastle United, this definitely isn't one of them. I'd suggest rather than sending him back from his loan, we send said fans to Sunderland where they belong.
If I've missed something bigger he has done, sorry.
As for the lad himself, give him a chance to play left wing with some regularity and give him a bit of support. He's had a rough time this season playing in uncomfortable positions, and has lost his confidence. Him and Almiron are the only class and creativity we have. I'd love to see them both in full flow and in good form. I like being entertained by players like them. The fans need to just get behind the kid (don't forget that is what he is).
Have to disagree, anyone who plays with their socks rolled down to show off their Billy Stampers should contribute more.
Aye its an untidy look the lad has.
My pet hate is these shin guards. I say shin guards, they are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in terms of their usefulness in protecting your shins. I understand the modern game is now so physical contact averse that shin guards are becoming redundant. But then you have them kicked on the shin and they roll round for 20mins. I suppose these fairies would still roll round regardless so my point is a little moot, but I can't see any reason for those stupid little bits of plastic.
I remember when you had to put a magazine down your socks if you forgot your shinners. You wouldn't dare head out onto the pitch showing no shinners. It would have been like a red rag to a bull.
Think Rafa has said a couple of times he is distracted by off field issues surrounding his child - not sure what they are but something is obviously up. He is also stifled in terms of his attacking play this year in the 5-4-1 and that's not helping as regardless of whether they say he can play LWB I think he's an out and out winger/inside forward and needs more freedom to show his best. Again in a scrappy team like ours no one looks good - and our fans love a scapegoat! I mean just look at the **** Hayden and Perez take on a weekly basis from "fans". Yet I wouldn't put Shelvey or Ki back in ahead of Hayden or Longstaff atm, maybe Diame.
Hayden hasn't been that good but I wouldn't remove Longstaff until his form drops, he's played too well. I'd take Hayden straight out for Shelvey or Ki if they were fit. I don't think Hayden gets any **** to be honest. Certainly sat in the ground I haven't heard any. He gets a bit on here I suppose but that's largely irrelevant. He's just not very good and struggles at PL level so fans will naturally call that. I wouldn't give him **** at the ground though because I could not say he doesn't try. I am sure he would love to be better at football and is trying to improve in training.
Largely though if I was going to have to use Hayden in any game, these would be the ones against the best sides. Its been a blessing that our tough run has coincided with our better players being out. I see these games as a free swing anyway. What we will need though is the guile and passing ability of Shelvey/Ki when we play weaker teams.
Perez I have to say does get some in the ground, and is subjected to more moans and groans than any other player. He brings some of that on himself of course with his diving/play-acting and of course being a complete fanny on the ball. He is a frustrating player but I do think the fans are too keen to jump on him.
I didn't know that about Kenedy but I can sympathise with that too, family is important. Some players are able to box that up and leave it to one side. Kenedy though seems quite an emotional type so maybe he can't leave home at home. If so then he should not really picked but again I come back to Rafa having his hands tied by fat boy.

It's more keyboard warriors to be fair and mainly on twitter I see it, usually call them out on it if I do but Hayden does get a lot of unnecessary stick for me.
Fully agreed though about him playing vs the big teams and Ki/Shelvey vs the smaller teams where we need a bit of creativity. Think Hayden is very tactically mature, way beyond his years and has done his defensive duties incredibly well alongside Longstaff in his run of games, even if he isn't technically wonderful, probably what you get for being coached by Wenger and Benitez at the beginning of your career. Considering he is being very open and honest about wanting to move down south closer to family he puts in a shift every time he plays.
Also agree Perez does slightly bring it on himself with his rolling around but that's just the european way really. Joselu for a stacked lad does it just as much (although thankfully he's not on the pitch as much so isn't as noticeable). You'd never see Rondon, flopping about or Diame, whereas Perez actually does get a boo boo from the wind blowing on him. Again though, think he does alot of the ugly yards and they go unnoticed by the majority until he's blowing out his arse and then does that little poncey jog he does - and it winds people up even more
As for Kenedy I do think he's been woeful at times this year - there was the game he didn't make a pass in the first 45 mins and then had the pen saved (think it was vs Huddersfield) - but he is definitely being stifled by the tactics. Benitez came out after a game (possibly the Hud's game as well actually) and basically said he's playing as a LB which he is not use to and want's more freedom but he'll do the job back there. Ritchie mind you has been immense back there considering he's never played in a back 5 in his life. I'd still put Kenedy a head of him though in place of Atsu and give him a bit more license but I think with Ritchie not being a natural LB Atsu is probably more disciplined in front of Magic Hat.
To be honest one of our worst for play acting and throwing himself about is Schar. He is embarrassing at times. Obviously more a normal part of the game in his eyes, but as a fan he takes the shine off his game with it.
