The three men were working for Gulf Supplies and Commercial Services, a Kuwaiti company working on reconstruction projects in Iraq. They knew their house was being watched and that they were in grave danger because theirIraqi house guard told them he was quitting because he had been threatened by militias that knew he was protecting Americans and British workers , but Bigley and the two Americans decided it was worth it to live with the danger. i read that he "befriended his captors" so they had the moral decency to shoot him dead before chomping off his head, which is why the vid is so badly chopped together
