Missed the feature what was it on?, as for davis played class tonight saved us from getting beat. Have to say iv'e slated him in the past but looking at it he's class.
It was a little interview type thing with him, where he just spoke about how he always wanted to stay here instead of go to West Ham, how he loves his life here on and off the pitch, and how he feels so accepted that it's his club as well. A proper display of loyalty.
Don't know if Bart could turn out to be a better keeper than Davis, but I don't know how anyone thinks we can drop Kelvin in order to find out.
They mentioned something about his 80th competitive league start in a row or something? Did I hear that right?
When Sky mentioned it I was trying to think back to who it was we played 82 games ago (couldn't be bothered to research it - and still can't!). It must work out to be a game back around November time during our first season in L1, but I really can't think who the opposition was. It must have been due to injury, as can't remember Davis getting sent-off.

Unbelievably, there are still people who want to drop Davis, but hopefully fewer after a game like this. We are lucky to have him and, as someone remarked, great to hear him say that Saints are now his team and he wants to finish his career here. I'm hoping that he is taken on as coach and back up goalkeeper after he retires from first team football. Hope Nicola realises what a bargain he would be..no more money wasted on a 3rd goalkeeper.
Don't forget Tuesday either. The save from Nolan was outstanding if not spectacular. It was a very clever finish from Nolan but Kelvin reacted brilliantly. You could say he won us a point at Reading and two v west ham
I've heard people say that KD is only a shot stopper...terrible to have a goalkeeper who stops shots at goal!! I think he has more to his game than that...I'm a big fan.
