A bid of £500k from Portsmouth for Mr Kelly has been turned down. Apparently on the grounds of value not a reluctance to sell. Given his non-playing experience so far, one has to wonder what Jol's plans for RB are. Preferring Hughes (sic) in the Crsader game when he gave Baird a rest. We know Hutton is available but perhaps with limited cash the priority is elsewhere. The smell of a loan deal is wafting around.
Surely Kelly is our only proper RB? Bairdinho and Hughes can do a job, but we need to get another RB before Kelly goes, surely. That would leave us a little thin in defence.
