Good to see Milly back in employment - did not work out as manager for us, but a good bloke http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10432~2848635,00.html
I've been looking for a reason to post this image. A possible future according to Football Manager. http://i48.tinypic.com/9bfbt1.png - Click it as it's quite large. See who's runner-up as well.
Millen's virtually unemployable - and we had him as manager !!! 'but a good bloke' - WTF has that got to do with employment. Blackpool Youth Development Coach is about his level and even then had to rely on the 'old boys network'.
Hang on a minute - Millen was a good servsnt to our club - first as a palyer, then coach, assistant manager - he did not throw his toys when Coppell got the job - left with dignity. That's what life is about
A marriage made in heaven..... A man who was one of our our crappiest manager's and a " gashead " who spouted the only good ****head is a dead one...Hollowhead and Millen, stuff them both...
Some people are better at being Assistant rather than Manager - football is littered with them - e.g Brian Kidd, Steve Clarke etc. For me Millen was a good No2, but it obviously did not work out when given the top job. Don't forget this was his first Manager job (Alex Fergusson failed in his first job - St Mirren?) My point is that he should also be remembered for the good things he did while at AG I don't really care about Holloway - he means nothing to me to be honest
