Curle, was assistant manager to Neil Warnock until the pair were sacked by QPR last month, and was recommended for the Notts job by the ex-Magpies boss. Former Wolves and Torquay United manager Colin Lee and ex-Sunderland striker Colin West have been confirmed as first-team coaches. League One side Notts sacked Martin Allen following Saturday's 3-0 away defeat against Hartlepool. The result leaves the Magpies in 11th place in League One, but they are only eight points off the play-off places and Allen had won his previous two games. Allen, 46, was only appointed in April 2011 but steered the Magpies clear of relegation last season. His assistant manager Carl Muggleton and first-team coach John Schofield have also left Meadow Lane. Former England international defender Curle brings a completely new look backroom team which also sees Chris Kiwoyma join as development squad manager. And former Notts keeper Kevin Pilkington, who spent five years at Meadow Lane from 2005 to 2010, returns as goalkeeping coach. Lee managed Curle during his playing days at Wolves and later worked alongside him as director of football at Torquay United. West has held numerous coaching roles, including working as assistant to Chris Turner at Hartlepool United, Sheffield Wednesday and Stockport County. Curle has had managerial spells at Mansfield Town, Chester City and Torquay United before joining Warnock as assistant boss at Crystal Palace and then QPR. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17098979 Well, that's one that won't follow NW to Elland Road.
