Everyone goes on about how bad the last 3 or 4 managers have been, I struggle to believe they are all that bad, especially with their previous records, it appears to be a more ingrained reason!
For me the worst person at the gate has got to be Keith Burt, he is the one responsible for identifying new players to bring to the club.
    Should have gone to specsavers!

He only joined when SoD was in charge so we can only partly blame him.

Surely the manager has some say into who comes into our club.
If not then he damned well should have. Whats the point of employing a manager to rebuild a club when someone else is doing the work

The club had a ton of dead wood well before he joined. If you want a scapegoat, look no further than the board. They're the only constant in all of this.

    He isn't.

Steve Cotterill took over that role totally as he does "everything". He is the Manager, he doesn't work like just a mere coach.

El Abh, Elliott, the crap other ones are Cotterill signings.

That being the case then, Keith Burt is surplus to requirements, not that he's done anything of note since he arrived.

    Saves a few quid

Andy Hesthentyler did a great job of searching promising talent, especially on loan for Gillingham.
