What with us needing to sign an attacking/creative mid, I really don't see why more fans aren't hoping to sign this chap.
Being half Japanese means that I've seen a lot of this player, admittedly predominantly playing for Japan, and every time I've seen him play he has impressed me
to no end, and always performs much better than Kagawa, although United do have a very good player on their hands.
He seems to be a much better team player than Kagawa, who although very talented, appears to take on one to many players at times and doing little flicks which don't always come off.
Whenever he plays, he is everywhere, tracking back and getting involved in every play, spraying the ball, playing nice little balls through and taking on players from time to time. He also takes a mean set piece, and could
replace Van Persie in the team as the specialist free kick taker quite easily, and might actually score a few.
What's more, for those worried about his physique, he's a monster for a japanese person, he's 6ft and against Australia (the main cloggers that we play internationally) he can hold his own, indicating that
he has the necessary attributes to make it in the premier league (once again contrasting with kagawa who appears to be slightly lightweight)
Wenger said that he thought that he was one of the best players in the WC, and he plays for CSKA at the moment, so I don't think that signing him would be a massive problem.
Finally, he's basically the pinnacle of Japanese football at the moment, Guys want to be him, Girls want to **** him, and we could massively boost our profile by signing him, what with Wenger and Miyaichi already being big
    hits over there.
    Thoughts?

Havent seen him in detail but from what i have seen have been immpressed. Correct me if im.wrong.though but isnt he on the way to lazio. He is very dynamic though and can certainly shoot. Would probably add an extra dimension to our attack.

Nope, his move to Lazio collapsed a while back, so he's still at CSKA.
I don't know much about transfers (like anyone else) but surely we can afford his transfer fee and wages

Have not watched much of him since the world cup of 2010, but I was impressed by him in that world cup and for the right price, I do think we should try and get him.

He'd be worth signing just for the free kicks alone. I've been hoping since the 2010 world cup someone in the prem would sign him!
