From what I've seen of the tour of Italy, he looks good and still can come up with the goods. Problem is now, where would we play him? One of the attacking mid positions?

    In the Routledge role.
Bothroyd up top, Adel behind, Smith left, and Dyer right.
They can also have the freedom to use any of these combinations.

Just wanted some opinions on wether or not we can have Taarabt and Dyer in the same team? I hope we play Boothroyd and DJ (if we get him) upfront.. So who is going to play in midfield coz i cant see Dyer and Taarabt fitting in the same starting 11 ?

    Dyer R/B?
He's good there, and if he's fit, he'll be in team, he's quality.

I saw the two matches in Italy he played, one in Derrys postion and the other at RB and I thought that he was very good going forward but also a hardworker and can tackle

Tell you what Bakes, thats a pretty decent line up. Of course it all goes pear shaped when Tarbs starts whinging and Dyer gets crocked but i see goals goals goals in those 4

Bothroyd drops deep + wide a lot of the time. Perfect for someone like Campbell/Taarabt to exploit the Centre Forward space.

Doesn't harm to have options up top.

Need a few at the back tho. Onuoha would be a great shout, can play full back or centre back + has pace. Hope Warnock is all over that one.

As already stated can see Dyer ending up at right back at some stage this season, especially if Orr starts off the season poorly. I think Dyer could do a decent job for us there.....if kept fit of course
