Reading after him. On SSN they quote Sparky saying he wants to do business quickly and that he spent six days scouting in France, Spain and Germany. Sounds exciting, Expect some names we haven't heard of, hopefully next week......
We are crying out for a left footed winger, with pace.Come to think of it,we need more pace on both wings. Id have him
All day mate, he could even play in a 3 man midfield with Ali, Samba, he has also played LB in the prem so understand the defensives side of the game, he would be a top addition and is a good age.
A solid YES from me. Class player defensively and also going forward. Has plenty of pace to burn and a decent age too
I am sure MH knows the positions that he wants to fill and has a list with several players for each of those positions. It's more than possible that KR is at least on the list. I am sure PB will advance talks with several players simultaneously to avoid disappointment when certain talks break down.
coming from a sunderland fan i'd be gutted if he left. Very versatile, the only position he hasn't played for us is in goal. Wherever he ends up i'll follow his career closely
I think one or two on here must be deluded if they don't think he'd be an improvement on what we have. His versatility is just what we are looking for in a good squad player and with his ManUre background he'll be comfortable on the ball, something we can do with...
Is that why Sunderland want to offload? Just because you played at Manure doesn't make you George Best, just ask Macheda? Not for me.
We dont really, he is a very good utility player, can play just about anywhere up the left and CM, CAM and CF Just think he is sick of being the utility player and wants a proper position, which in his mind would be CAM as he loves playing there, dont get me wrong he plays well when there He has a year left on his contract now and I think MON wants to cash in
