I'm comparing our season now to Birmingham's season back in 06/07. The Brummies got a few bum results but Bruce made sure they did enough to go up.

They finished second and the stats are as follows

    Played W D L F A W D L F A GF GA GD Pts
    06/07
    Birmingham City 46 15 5 3 37 18 11 3 9 30 24 67 42 + 25 86
    12/13
    Hull 36 12 2 4 31 17 8 3 7 22 26 53 43 + 10 65

We are not a million miles away just need to keep winning at home and stop losing away. (Sounds simple)

I remember that Phil Browns relegation threatened tigers managed a nice 2-0 win at home in the run in during Brums promotion, I know it won't be pretty but I trust Bruce to squeeze enough out the squad to get us up automatically.

Then again Stats mean fook all!

I like stats - I don't think we'll amass 86points though like Brum but maybe an auto spot might not need this number - SB said Bolton would be a one off - now after shipping four again albeit at a place that is always tough to get owt from I am now not so sure.
