We now seem to have two very good keepers on the books which is fantastic for us. I think Vorms in the top 3 and Tremmels moving up steadily maybe around 7th or 8th which is very good for a back up keeper imo !
where do you think Vorm & Tremmel rank in the prems top 10 best goalies at the moment ?

Thank christ Dorus De Vries aka Wolves's third choice keeper left us.

What a blessing in disguise that was.

Vorm and Tremmel both excellent keepers, Vorm makes brilliant reaction saves whilst Tremmel has a better aerial presence which is useful against sides that like to pump in high balls.

Totally agree. I don't think any of us wanted to lose De Vries, but as always seems to be the case lately, we replaced with better.
Apparently the only thing more lucrative about his Wolves contract in comparison to what we offered him, was that they would guarantee his wages if they were relegated, whereas his wages would have dropped had he stayed and we got relegated...well that worked out nicely for him <whistle>

it looks like Tremmel's successful cover for Vorm is going to be rewarded with more of a role for us.
Maybe we'll see more of him against the arial physical sides

It shows how much faith I have in Tremmel in that when the team was announced I felt it didn't matter that he was in goal - I know he is more than able to do the job.
I thought he was great yesterday.

I'm starting to feel that no matter what terrible substance we fall in as a club, we come out smelling sweeter than a sweet thing with sugar cubes stuck on and dipped in maple syrup.
Dorus and BR leaving are 2 prime examples.

Yep, Tremmel played a blinder yesterday. His performance deserved MOTM, then again our defence was excellent. Fair ply to Gary Monk coming in and put in a great display.

both keepers has to be in the top 5 imo. as far as im concerned they are both better than the Englands No1,2 and 3rd choice keepers, we are very lucky as they have saved us more than once this season...what fans should remember though is they will have their off days from time to time and we should not slate them like we do sometimes.

agreed. 2 great keepers with different attributes. I would like to see Vorm against Villa though.
I do rate Joe Hart (still young too) and Reina for shot stopping but honestly I wouldn't trade the guys we have for either of them.
Cech isn't the player he was after that head injury but he's still a good allrounder. Don't rate de gea too highly yet but again he's very young.
guzan is a good keeper and he will be Villa's star man for me.

Vorm or Tremmel, it doesn't matter, they'll both play till they're ancient, like Mr. Sepp Blatter!
