    does anyone know much about goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic,who claims we want him,according to talksport.also Junior Holiet has stalled his contract talks according to the sun

    We do need to be looking at young keepers, all 3 of ours have a combined age of over a 100! <yikes> <laugh>

    I posted this on another thread, but he looks so talented I'll post it again:


    I know of a good young 'keeper, though he's not English. My friend Mark lives in Mönchengladbach, and has told me about a 19 year old German lad, who looks to be a real talent. His name is Marc-André ter Stegen and plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach. I've found a YouTube compilation of his best saves in the Bundesliga, check it out, some of them are pretty amazing, against talents like Götze: Best Saves

    All I can really say is he's played every game on loan at Siena this season (played five, conceeded four - I'm assuming Siena are a middling club looking to stay in Serie A, so take from those stats what you will) and he's got five caps for Serbia.

    So, about as much as I can cobble together from Wikipedia and IMScouting, then...

    What is he like at crosses and commanding his area though? Youtube isn't very reliable when scouting goalkeepers. Eg:
