We are still not bottom of the Championship form table, 21st position. That aside, given that we appear to have lost Hobbs and Chester for the final 6 games, Koren for the next three games we could be looking at less than 3 points out of the 18 available, how will Nick & co cope with this finish to the season?? It's gonna get messy mark my words.
No I don't think it could be much worse, well it could, but given the circumstances i think this is about as bad as it gets.
I don't think we can though. Ghilas is on an international loan for the whole season so there's no disputing it's a long term loan. McShane was announced on virtually the last day of the transfer deadline as having extended his initial one month loan until the end of the season. Although there's a mathematical possibility that he'd agreed a series of emergency loans to manipulate the rules the liklihood is that he's also on a long term loan. Long term loans can only be terminated during a transfer window (except in certain circumstances, but in those situations the returning player can only play for the reserves so it's no use to us).
Watkiss came to us from Grimsby and after the first weeks training, he said Ghlias wouldn't make the Grimsby starting XI, when he heard he was on £20k he thought it was a wind-up.
