With all the comings and goings there's been some mass hysteria on this board this week. We've had multiple threads from a knob from Legoland known as Tiger, numerous postings from an even bigger knob from QPR called Stan Boils and accusations and more speculation and doom and gloom that Eastenders gets all year. Let's put things into perspective, We are in a better position now than before Rodgers took over. We are £7m better off too. He has gone to a bigger club than us and he can't come back and sign our players for 12 months. I say that we should all wish him well but we do need to move on and get fully behind whoever the new manager will be. The players are the same and they deserve the same support they've always had from us. Players and managers come and go but the one constant in a football club is us, the fans and there is no one more important than the fans. So, get a grip lads keep the faith let's look forward to another season of tremendous Premier League football and another guaranteed higher league placing than the lower league ladyboys from Legoland.
What are you talking about ? .... Daiswan said Rodgers can take any players he wants , any time he wants , don't you listen or what ?
Not to Dai I dont Spark especially when his best Mate Huw says they can't sign anyone. Perhaps Huw is lying, maybe Dai can confirm this ?
Good one Dilligaf as long as Siggy signs and we get a v.good manager in sharpish to limit any unrest from the rest of the team then Bucks flit wont be so serious but some of us still feel the need to show our disaproval of how he dissapointed us with his blarney before sneeking off ?
Aswan, it's predictive bl00dy ****ing text. I swear I put breezey in and bl00dy spark comes up. Grrrrrr
In the words of the legendary John Winston Ono Lennon(he was not Ono at the time mind) When discussing with his fellow beatles where they were going he would say to them "where are we going lads" and their reply would be " to the toppermost johnny"(copyright Apple Corp) Well thats where we are going, stay positive the future is bright the future is black and white (copyright Dai) And before you ask i am as sober as a judge
Completely untrue. Fans come and go more often than players and manager. The first Swans match I went to see was against Northampton in around 1973-5. The attendance was something around 1,050. So don't pretend the fans are a constant. If we slipped backed down to League Two over half the fans would be gone. Yes, some fans will support the clubs for a very long time, but they are very few in number, especially when times are bad. It's the team that's the most important factor. Without the team there wouldn't be any fans. Anyway, I don't see much doom and gloom at all. In fact it's all looking good. We still have all the same players and have replaced the manager and a few others with 7million. Would we pay 7 million to get them back? Probably not. So then it follows that we got a good deal. There's no reason at all why we can't keep progressing.
Now there's a surprise you disagreeing with me, like you always do. And you say you're not a Bluebird ? What was that thread you started ? Oh yes it was " Good Bye" your last ever post. Turns out it wasn't your last post then.
Now that I'm over the anger and bitterness, I'm starting to feel quite positive. A new manager with new ideas could well work out for the better, second season syndrome goes out the window as we're pretty much starting a fresh. I think a good appointment would encourage Siggy to put his name on the dotted line if the rumours are true that his main desire is first team football, but if he doesn't, who's to say a new manager won't come out with a gem or 2 of his own? I'm even starting to get a slight feeling of wanting Rogers to do well - even though I hate Liverpool. If he's there a while, he could be a useful ally for the odd loan signing or cheap signing, as long as if/when he does come in for our players he doesn't take the piss
Well, if you post something that is obviously untrue then of course I'm going to disagree with it. And of course, anyone who disagrees with you must be a Cardiff fan. I'm sorry, but I can't seem to follow that bit of logic. Yes, I'm back. Perfectly entitled to change my mind.
Fans don't count !! Yes Cardiff fans opinions don't matter to me on matters to do with the Swans. Always looking for confrontation aren't you ? You may have fooled some of the others but not me or some other posters on here.
Getting the right manager, that's hungry (and out of work) will blow the second season syndrome to bits, that thought has been with me for a few days now, so come on Huw, get the right man, and not nervous Jones, we know you have the midas touch!.......... please log in to view this image By the way you two, stop arguing, you won't catch me doing that!................ please log in to view this image
Phil, I've never known you to argue mate, nor Dai either. SA9, have to say quality post mate, now is the time to be positive and look forward.
