Not sure if this will be controversial but i'll give it a well intentioned go. I should say I start from the view that in my opinion JT is guilty as anything!!

Lets turn the tables and if were all old enough to remember IMAGINE a scenario -

The scene - An ill tempered match at the bridge in a game where were expected to waltz to victory. Were down to 9 men and Rangers legend Alan McDonald is involved in a spat with a black Chelsea opponent. We have the same fall out as before. How would we react?

I can only guess but I think i'd look at the evidence and based upon what I see I'd think probably guilty but i'll wait and see if the police or FA charge him. In the meanwhile continue to offer support based upon innocent until proven guilty.
When he's charged i'd probably think ok not looking good but that's what a court is for and continue to support him hoping he's found not guilty and then I can say see told you so. After all there could be lots of other evidence we don't know about? But.... if he's found guilty drop him like a hot brick never to be seen again.

And that I believe is where Chelsea are at the minute, praying for a result at court but deep down they probably expect the worst. The true test for me is post court case which will probably be a long way off yet. Next week is a first hearing where he will plead not guilty and a court date will be set weeks away. The end result is a long way off......
I don't blame Chelsea for supporting him but in their hearts, having seen the footage, they probably know whats coming. The big question is what they do when the result is in and they can no longer justify the support on the back of a guilty verdict.
