This morning Keefer was up bright and early and talking to TalkSport about yesterday's defeat and how he is dealing with it and the players... http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/weekend-sports-breakfast/blog/2011-08-07/millen-we-need-move-quick
Some positive results pre-season was that the Bath or Yeovil games?? what planet is KM on? I heard the interviewer saying "It doesn't take long for fans to boo and they should have patience" well we have cos this started last season and it's still bad!! Don't agree with booing but voting with you feet seems to be happening
Yes left at 4.15am along with a couple of thousands fans. That was park football yesterday. Really does make u wonder what is going on at Ashton gate at present. I'm was really struggling to replace my STs after last season,13years in a row,if I have to watch rubbish each week like yesterday,it is gonna be a struggle.
Listen, this is not personal and for what its worth, I quite like Keith but this is not about that, it is about the future of the club and there is nothing different from last year, no new ideas so why do you expect do do better than last year...? Keith, you can analysis it as much as you like however what we can all see from the terraces is that you need to get the support from Mr Wiggley in terms of creating a pattern of play. At the moment, its disorganised, rabbit in the headlights stuff and whilst some of us have heard you bellowing at the players at half time, there is little benefit in getting a player to play OUT OF POSITION and still expect them to perform as they would in their nature position. Square pegs, round holes, etc. Now the worrying thing is that we KNOW that the players can play better than this - they CAN manage a coherent game with slick passing and good moves and this is the most concernng bit. We get it in 2 spells in the season, its almost like the players do just enough to make sure that they stay in the division and then lapse again which of course is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.... This brings up the credibility issue again - as we all know, respect is earned so shouting at players is completely pointless if you don't have their respect. I don't know what the position is at AG but some of the performances do not indicate much confidence in the direction from management. The players wouldn't dare disrespect for instance, Paul Lambert. They would be out on their arse quicker than you could say P45 if they turned in some of the performances we have seen over the last year so it iss quite obvious that something is wrong somewhere... There aren't 3 obvious relegation candidates this year so this needs sorting and it needs doing now before we are playing catch up again...
