Keds had a run out for the development squad yesterday against Luton, and scored a goal in the 3 - 2 defeat.
Do you think he should be included in the squad for Bristol? Other players to feature were Sam Baxter, Birch
and Charlie Lee who scored the other Gills goal

    Good question Old Timer,
The trouble is you would need to have seen the game to really know, it was against a conference side and we lost even though we had a relatively strong team out.

I am concerned that at the moment Taylor is not picking the strongest team, Saturday he rested McDonald with the excuse that he looked tired on the Wednesday, they had just had 10 days off! which suggests he was rusty more than tired. Hopefully PT sees them in training every day and bases his decisions on that but I do wonder if he sometimes tries things that don't work and then clutches at any excuse to justify his selection.

Luton to the best of my knowledge are a good side. Without checking i think i'm right in saying they have only just missed out on league status for a few seasons now and it looks at last as though this maybe their season. Already dished out a couple of good hammerings recently if memory serves me correctly, so no surprise we lost to them to be honest. There is some good sides down in that Conference and some of them ain't miles apart from League One standard on their day. As for including Keds for Bristol, lets not rush him back, unless Taylor's going to throw another tactical surprise and throw Danny in goal because I noticed Nelson is starting to look 'tired'. Sorry couldn't resist that.

Least get him involved in the match day squad. Taylor said that he likes playing 4-3-3 for away games so could it would be unlikely that he would start with Akinfenwa. Also I would like to see Charlie Lee involved but thats just because I like Lee.

Gills website now says he is unlikely to make trip to Ashton Gate. Probably will be saved for home match with Crawley next week.

I rather we made sure that Danny Kedwell is 100% fully fit before we bring him back into the first team.

We have got Akinfenwa, ***an, McDonald and Pigott as our options up-front so there is no need to rush Kedwell back into the side as we have got plenty of attacking options available.

PT has now said in his mid week interview that Keds will not be around for a couple of weeks yet.
