Must be desperate for money. His pundit job must be at risk as he's hardly in demand for managerial work. If we owe him money then we owe him money, time will tell. He had to go though, treated it like a part time job, terrible example to the squad.
A normal employment tribunal is 6 months from leaving employment, but as footballers seem to be above the real world there's probably different rules.
Apparently it is because he was supposed to get money, £200k, for a confidentiality agreement but after opening his mouth about his time with us only 2 months after leaving he has not been paid. I'd keep my mouth shut for a lot less..would be trying when the wife is battering my ear however.
200k? Seems like a load of bollocks to me, if we owe him 200k, we'd just give him it, it's a pittance in Premier League football terms. ****ing helmet.
There's a general six-year limit on this sort of thing. Waiting since 2008 to sue is still the action of a bell-end, however. Should just have ****ed off with a bit of dignity.
This has been rumbling on for quite a while now, i'm sure it was mentioned previously. I reckon Ellis is digging his heels in for many of the reasons listed above.
