Just thinking back to the game against Cardiff and remembered how great it was to be in a stadium where everybody was fully behind the players. If someone made a mistake they were being encouraged instead of abused. Would be great to continue that into the Prem and hopefully we don't retreat back to sitting there expecting to be entertained. An atmosphere like that every week could make the difference between staying up and going down.

I don't understand that, why people can only be arsed on a single occasion.

The first match in the Premier League v Fulham had a good atmosphere. It only deteriorated when the team stopped performing. I agree it was different against Cardiff. But right or wrong I think that if the club get off to a good start the crowd will respond.

it was a fantastic atmosphere even when we went a goal down because everyone knew the importance of the game, the crowd will have to be like that every week in the premier league because every game will be so important in trying to stay up. There will be times when the fixtures will give us some very difficult games against the top teams and this is when you can easily lose four or five games on the trot but hopefully most fans will go to the stadium and understand that we are going to lose more than we will win but keep supporting the team and hope its enough to stay up. I am sure Stoke did so well because of there home form and the terrific backing they got from there fans, hopefully we will compete keep behind the lads and enjoy the premier league seeing some of the best players in the world. Enjoy, p.s give all the kids some of them clappers which i must admit when i heard we were getting them i thought what a load of rubbish but they certainly added to the noise

I agree with that, I think it just made it more acceptable to make noise in the stadium. Maybe we should have the clappers for the first few game just to set a precedent for the new fans that are coming in and then hopefully the noise will continue throughout the season.
