    that vid brings tears to the eyes. more so remembering watching all the races at the time. the 2011 victory was wonderful to watch (and that was before the KG) i'm already missing seeing kauto star race. but ignoring the CGC he retired with a huge rejuvinated following public :biggrin:

    yes i wondered that. he regularly flew at kempton, races i watched time and again. it would be good to see a compilation for there as well. i think it was discussed on here that they were possibly going to name a race after him there as well?

    i remember watching the race at mine last year on boxing day with my family ,my dad is a big racing fan and loves arkle as he grew up watching him we had a £2 mini bet with each other i was going to choose kauto but went with masterminded (twat) and my dad went for long run i just remember looking at my dad with a huge grin on my face when kauto star crossed the line my dad looked in disbelief as he said long run would improve miles from haydock but even he said thats a good horse and he is as bad as andrew from greenford :) when it comes to arkle
