Leicester fan here, Just wondering if Kasper is either on high wages or not as good as I thought, as it seams he wants to stay at Leeds but Bates/Grayson want him out. I like most supporters of all clubs do not really want anyone playing for us who doesn't want to be here, and if press rumours are true it would seam Kasper wants to stay with you guys all i can think is he is a high wage earner and bates wants him off the wage bill, he's disruptive in the dressing room or he's not very good. I rated him as one of the best gk in championship last season. Can any of you enlighten us? Thanks and good luck next season
He's supposed to be on over the £15K as he was on that at Notts County. He's a quality shot stopper but other parts of his game need to be improved. I personally think he saw Leeds United as a stepping stone to the PL and had no intention of signing a new contract so it was better for Leeds United financially to let him go now. If The Foxes are willing to stump up £1.5Mill it's not bad business knowing Leeds United's transfer market dealings he'll probably turn out to be a great keeper.
Clearly a change in tactic from last seaosn and the season before.... we kept Beckford,Johnson and Kilkenny..... but i presume the thinking is getting the 20k ish off the wage bill..... stupid really as he may have played a partin getting us up...he is young and will make mistakes but a amazing shop stopper..... If you just saw him on the games on TV - Derby, Arsenal - when he played his best games, then I can understand why you'd think this. He has the ability to make some incredible saves, but the basics of his positioning, distribution (he can kick it far, but not directed) and organising his defenders he really needs to improve. He's an average keeper, not really worth the £1million you're paying for him at the moment, but under Sven he could improve into a good keeper.
kasper wants pl football with a big top half club,That realistically is never going to be Leicester. If he stays at Leeds and we go up hes there,if we don't then free to move on.from his point of view win,win. 3-4 year contract with a championship or bottom half prem Leicester would be lose,lose.
Kasper's not good enough for the EPL, so he perhaps needs to take a reality check. He's gone so we move on and I would suggest he's not heard of much anymore.
To answer your original question, both. He's the highest earner at the club currently but I wouldn't count him as one of our 6 best players.
Well i suppose he will join the ever growing list of players who became famous after we had them first !!! Can you imagine the teams we would have had if we had managed to keep all those players !!!!! Unthinkable huh !!
