After the weekend have been wondering what Jol's plans (sic) will be for Thursday's game. One young man, namely Kasami, obviously believes he's in the frame -

At a guess, Dembele is out (does anyone know what his injury is ?) and despite all the other repartee about why he was taken off, Murphy definitely took a couple of bad knocks. This would seem like an excellent time to give the necomers a go, especially Frei. What are the odds on a similar turn out as against Chelsea ?

When I was at CC this morning to look at the plans for the Ground, I quizzed the FFC reps. about tomorrow's team selection. The gos was that Bobby, Demps and Murphy had not travelled. And of course Ruiz who is cup tied or injured or something.

    Evening 58,

I would love to see some younger players starting this. Although experience will be required as well. Kasami is a must but as for Frei, I think he has an ankle injury at the moment.

According to Jol in a press conference, Frei is okay and in the running. At the same session Jol came out with this -

" Wisla's defeats have seen fans and pundits alike turn on a supposedly slow and disorganised defence, which Jol believes makes this the kind of game in which a player of Johnson's pace could flourish.

"If he starts I think he can do well," he said. "He has scored I think six goals in Europe and then against QPR, where he scored a hat-trick.

"He is on fire and I think the only decision we have to make is whether we play him or somebody else."

Can anyone interpret for me please.
