Anyone have any ideas what is the deal with them if Lambert goes? Not heard anything about them, but I remember Lambert saying the it is Culverhouse who makes the subs. Maybe he would become manager if Lambert went?

Him and Karsa will go with him. I have absolutely no doubt about it!

My concern is that should Lambert go, I would hope that he wouldn't take any players with him, but the majority nowdays do revisit old haunts.

Whitbread would enrage all of us fans, considering he was released, and Fox too (although he cost £100k, and followed PL from Colchester), to name a few.

I'm not overly fussed about the possibility of Whitbread going to Villa. I would be disappointed if Fox joined them, but that would be it for freebies. If Lambert wanted anybody else, you can be sure that McNally and co will ask for well over the odds for him/them.<ok>

They would have to go. A new guy coming in will have his own people anyway.
