Karleigh Osborne heads to Colchester

He's joined Colchester on loan until the end of the season....

 

Karleigh Osborne has joined Colchester United on loan until May 4th.

The 26-year-old defender has been forced to wait for first team opportunities during 2014/15 and now has the chance to go out and play regular football in Essex.

Osborne joined the club on loan from Millwall in 2013 before penning a permanent deal. He has played 32 times for City.

The loan deal includes a 24-hour recall clause.

Yep a good move for both parties. Colchester have to play Swindon and MK Dons so hopefully Osborne can keep those 2 quiet and help us move further ahead! We do though only have 3 CBs at the club.... and all play in the starting line up. Really is important now that none of these pick up a silly injury during a game.

 

Shame For Karleigh he was beginning to look good towards the end of last season.

 

I wonder if this relief to the budget is clearing the decks for a loan signing ?
