Any substance in the rumours that he's walked out on Boro?

Yarm misses a tourist trick by not having a public voice called "the hammer".

How many results come up on google for quotes and memes starting with "Yarm Hammer"?

Yarm Hammer is so stupid, she puts a ruler next to the bed to see how long she sleeps.

    "John, it's Steve, Aitor's gone"

Whether he's stayed or ****ed off, it shows it's not a happy camp up there. Downing getting mentioned as the source of the squabbling, and the Red Adair style appointment of Nigel Pearson as temporary manager too.

Newcastle, Sunderland and Borough - they've all got that hysterical soap opera self-destruct gene in their DNA.

He used to dance with Ginger Rogers didn't he?
Threw the toys out of his pram when questioned about paying 9 million quid for Rhodes but has only played him 4 times from a possible 8 games. Does seem a bit odd - how would we (and the owners) feel if Steve did that.

Boro statement saying Steve Agnew to take charge for Sunday game v Charlton.

    A statement from MFC...
Middlesbrough Football Club can confirm that Aitor Karanka did not take training on Saturday morning.
Assistant Head Coach Steve Agnew will take charge of the team for Sunday’s fixture at Charlton Athletic.
We appreciate supporters will want to know further details, but at this time the club cannot make any further comment and is solely focused on Sunday's game at The Valley.

Where's Smeggo when you want to rake the piss?

Some of the tweets on Twatter from Boro supporters last night were nothing short of embarrassing, although many in here push them hard in the embarrassment stakes.

First Derby, now it looks like Borough are pressing the self destruct button.

Just need Sean Douche to have a scrap with Joey Barton now and **** Burnley up .

according to sky sources it`s suggested he has told the players he did not want to manage them anymore after the Rotherham defeat due to their lack of commitment or something similar, Agnew will have the players onside, specially Rhodes, so don`t particularly see this upsetting the apple cart, although TWT.

We may need him to keep there, Middlesbrough supporters tend to say he is too cautious (a bit like Steve Bruce). Of course they could end up with someone worse, but we just don't know.

A Charlton win tomorrow could really rock the Riverside boat at a crucial time. Fingers crossed.

It's highly unlikely. But if Charlton hold them to half time you never know, Middlesbrough seem to play worse if they don't get a first half goal.
