Kapustka has joined Leuven on loan, playing under Nigel Pearson! Not sure about this one... I was excited when we signed him, surely if at this age he is only being loaned to a Belgian team, it’s unlikely he’ll ever really make an impact for us?
His biggest fault is his ego - something that playing in the Belgium second decision under Pearson should be sorted.
Somewhere like Celtic/Rangers that puts him in a bad league but big stage might have been best to bring his value up to sell. This is one that doesn’t look like he has a future. Though he was relatively cheap (£6m?) so if that helps their feeder team go up I guess it makes sense
If he is half as good as we thought and is believed to be then he will rip up the Belgian league Apparently he is just too lightweight and according to Freiburg he has no understanding of defending. Their manager said they couldnt believe no one had ever taught him the defensive side of his game They said he is a nice lad but wasnt ready to play football at that level
