Jan has signed a new contract too. Runs until 2019 so not really that long. When did his previous contract run to?
 
Jan committing to the club makes it slightly more likely we'll be able to hold on to Toby in the long-run. He's the one who I think the big fish will be circling this summer. Barca, City, United, Chelsea, Real are all reportedly in the market for a new CB.

He hasn't put a foot wrong because when he signed Sissoko, he shot himself in both of them <laugh>

I agree, Toby has been almost faultless since he signed for us and imo would get in any team on the planet atm.
