A big player to lose , I hope Baker is fit enough to step in , surely our bad luck with injuries must stop soon.
Our injuries rarely seem to be minor and here’s another to bite us in the backside. It will be interesting to see how Lee and the team handle adversity and Villa will prove to be difficult at best and a possible nightmare at worst. Keep the faith.
Many thanks for this comment from OTIB, it is a bit of an eye opener ~ RedDave please log in to view this image Posted 5 hours ago Not a bad line up we are forming on the treatment table. Fielding Pisano Wright Kalas ???? Adelukan Smith Hegeler ??? Eisa ???? Just three players to go......is it bad luck or is it more than that? When a club continues to get injuries (Arsenal good example from recent times) I think it is more than just bad luck. Granted, some of the above is bad luck but are they all?
Yes i believe it is....can't really see what else it can be...really don't believe it's to do with training methods....just one of those things.....hence why you need a decent squad!!
Hard to say, but to suggest it isn't just bad luck would be to imply that the clubs' coaching/physio teams aren't doing a good job when any of us wouldn't have a clue about what they do day to day and what qualifications they have. I don't know about you, but if someone suggested I was doing a bad job just because something out of my control had happened, then I'd be angry and think that person was a p***k. That said, it would be interesting to see if anyone had someone had managed to compile a record of other teams' injuries (i.e. total number of, average time out, type of injury etc.) to see how we stack up against others and to try and see if there's any pattern or correlation. It could simply be that we're more aware of our own injury problems than other teams, so it's just our own perception that we're worse off (though that's hard to imagine!).
I blame Hunt, Patterson or Pack seeing as OTIB is blaming them. Or maybe Watkins and Kalas didn’t want Taylor to come on.
