I would be celebrating, but I live in Italy and know the score, now the "poor us we were wronged because other clubs can't match our achievements on the field so stitch us up legally" and it will be appeal, appeal, appeal, court case, court case, court case, till the ****ers get it reduced to a one point penalty or similar.

There will be a lot more to come out if this. They're up on criminal charges in March for misleading the stock exchange which goes beyond football. They announced that their players were taking a 4 month wage deferral, but there's documents that suggested the players were all being paid back via a guaranteed bonus.

But there will be more to come for other clubs I would imagine too. We've seen Uefa threaten to close a legal loophole this week because of Chelsea's 8 year contracts which helps them in ffp because they can spread the transfer fee out over the length of the contract. There will be far worse things going on though. The Juventus/Barcelona exchange of Melo/Pjanic will be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to artificially inflating transfer fees.

It'll be interesting to see if UEFA go after Barca too. There must be a lot of questions over their dealings in recent years. I can imagine they still want a bit of revenge over the super league shenanigans.

Is this a standard response when punished by every club in black and white then?
