Does anyone else feel angry when the sentences handed out to football players and in criminal court proceedings seem so ludicrously unbalanced, unfair and often totally inadequate. Just recently we have seen how football bans handed out for racial abuse and 'biting' opponents seemed insufficient to pay for the crime.

Today Stuart Hall has been handed 15 months for the admitted offences of sexually abusing 13 young girls, when he took advantage of his position as a top television personality. One his victims was a little girl, nine years of age!!!

Stuart Hall, Chris Huhne and Vicky Pryce were all guilty of perverting the course of justice by initially denying to the police the allegations made against them.

Huhne and Pryce got eight month and served eight weeks!!! So presumably if the legal system is balanced, Hall will be back in the arms of his family in just over 3 months time.

Have I lost the plot in my old age or what FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. I believe I am correct in saying that Stuart Hall protected himself against compensation claims against his personal possessions from his victims by signing his possessions over to others in his family prior to admitting his sins. Cynicism or not?????

dont get me started in this. no justice at all. they are not trying to redue the age of consent to 12 years of age to stop more cases coming forward!!! shocking.
