    Surely that'll have been 'Consultant' Slade.......

    He's a good player when he's fit, I'm not at all disappointed he's staying.

    Same here. Was doing well until forced to play at lb and then Injured.

    Quality footballer.

    Thought he was harshly treated last season after 2 games at full back, one loss and one win. Deserved a chance to partner Caulker at some stage f the season before he got injured.

    City are blessed with 4 very decent centre backs. Pity the same cannot be said for full backs. It cannot be right that City have to play a midfielder as emergency FB if Fabio is injured. Slade needs to address this during the break, as John is not a full back.

    I said that the first time I saw him - away at Northampton in the League Cup 2 years ago. Great going forward with a good cross but not a natural defender and a bit on the short side. My comment was he would be best served by playing left midfield.
