Just wondered what peoples thoughts on these ex-players were

Keiron Dyer :- Seems a shame to see him end up at Ipswich on loan for a month. Was a fantastic direct player in my opinion. Very tidy on the ball, would have been an England regular starter if it wasnt for injury ravaging him.

David Rozenhal :- I actually loved the guy. Had him on the back of my shirt after his first 3-4 games. Regret it now like but I still think hes a good player.

Geremi :- I knew he was past it when we signed him, was championship quality then.

Cacapa :- Well done fat Sam

Craig Bellamy :- Was a quality forward. No doubt about it. Shame he was a bit of a prick cause theres no doubt in my mind that was his career highpoint with us, absolutley lethal. Feyenoord

Nobby Solano :- Loved him to bits, then he went Villa. They bloody ruined him! Still love him though.

Antoine Sibierski :- I welcomed his transfer as much as Kuqi's. Glad I was wrong did a good job for us and cant complain at that price.

Babayaro :- I've always had a question mark next to his name or some reason.

Obafemi Martins :- Was great to sign such an exciting striker. I thought we signed Usain Bolt with a rocket left boot after playing with him on Pro Evo. Shame it wasnt quite that but the lad never scored a boring goal and always put a shift in. Id welcome him back

Keiron Dyer : Pace to burn, exciting and absoloute quality. Injuries and the high life let him and Newcastle down

David Rozenhal : Not up to the physicallity of the Premier League

Cacapa : Apart from a comical song he was useless

Craig Bellamy : Little Bastard but footballing wise when you could get him fully fit he was an asset and a great outlet for us.

Nobby Solano : one word = Legend

Antoine Sibierski : Super Sibierski did us great service

Babayaro : Money grabbing ****er. His own daft fault that he now finds himself bankrupt

Obafemi Martins : Any prick that blows 70-80 thousand of wages a week does not deserve sympathy. When the going gets tough young/old Oba gets going. Was heartbreaking seeing him Bowyer and Carr lift that trophy

 

Dyer : Injuries & lifestyle have ruined him, rated him when he was here and fit

David Rozenhal : Hardly remember the bugger.

Geremi : Groaned whenever I saw him on the teamsheet

Cacapa : Wanted to kill myself whenever I saw him on the teamsheet

Craig Bellamy : Great player, dickhead, but still put the effort in so cant complain

Nobby Solano : Absolute legend.

Antoine Sibierski : Earned his place in our hearts!

Babayaro : Shocking, says everything about Souness.

Obafemi Martins : So much scandal surrounded this player regarding his age, a right lazy bastard 8/10 games.

Kieron Dyer : So so quick, was a brilliant midfielder, complete midfielder. Could attack and defend. Injuries ruined his career, real shame.

David Rozenhal : Rubbish, good first few games but found out as weak.

Geremi : Useless

Cacapa : Useless

Craig Bellamy : Awesome awesome player. Complete dick but class player.

Nobby Solano : Legend

Antoine Sibierski : Legend

Babayaro : Twat

Obafemi Martins : Useless. Lazy and inconsistent. Slow, put in half the effort of Michael Owen, here for 1 year less, Owen spent a whole year out injured remember, so really played same amount of seasons, played 17 more games than Owen and scored 2 more goals(in the league). Fans sung his praises while insulting Owen. At least Owen didn't commit then jump ship at first opportunity. He played his contract then left. Martins scored a few good goals. And had a fancy celebration. We were robbed paying £10m for him and lucky to get £9m back.

 

Owen cost £18m, left on a free and is an all round ****. Never even noticed he was on the pitch when he was meant to be captain. He was also on at least £100k a week. Robbed us blind, at least Martins left for a similar fee to that when he joined.

 

Owen was an absoloute disgrace to say the very least

 

Dyer on his day was brilliant, it was just which Dyer would turn up.

David Rozenhal - useless.

Geremi- I used to cringe when he played and why he had to take all the free kicks, just because he scored one once.

Cacapa-useless

Craig Bellamy- I loved him when he played for us, one of my favourite players.

Nobby Solano- Legend

Antoine Sibierski- hard working

Babaryo-useless

Martins-blew hot and cold

Given-Legend

Jenas- good player

Hughes and Andy O'Brian both worked hard.

Michael Owen-A waste of space and money.

Woodgate-Never saw the best from the lad.

 

Yeah but it's not like Owen asked for that fee to be paid and we didn't have to pay him that wage. Martins was on 80k a week and it's no surprise he's at his 3rd club in less than 2 seasons since leaving. I'd rather Owen see out his contract and leave than say he was going to stay until somebody else comes calling. Owen was given the captaincy as a ploy to get him to stay much like Tevez at City. Owen in 2008 under Keegan was out best player along with Barton. Keegan left and in come Kinnear, and all those problems. Owen never robbed us, he honoured his contract. Martins ran off.

 

Dyer - was a great player when he was fit and was really good for us, shame he's struggling so much now
Bellamy - was great for us, had a really good partnership with Shearer, was a shame he fell out with Souness
Solano - top quality set-pieces and scored quite a few goals, legend
Sibierski - turned out to be a great signing/bargain

Antoine Sibierski : Nice guy, worked hard, got some important goals. No complaints

Babayaro : He was bad but I'll never forget when he played a game for us the day after his brother died.

Obafemi Martins : I liked Martins.

 

Dyer- Had the potential, but attitude and injury got in the way.
Rozenhal- Allardyce signing but yet became unsettled by Allardyce after looking good to start with.
Geremi- Had the odd decent game when he first game and under Keegan at the end of the 07/08 season, but apart from that hopeless.
Cacapa- Slow lazy hopless, played well the first few games though.
Bellamy- Belting player, but trouble was never too far away.
Solano- Got better each year and was brilliant, never understood why Shepherd sold him over Bobby's back.
Sibierski- Never understood why we signed him, but did a tidy job and was sad to see him go in the end.
Babayoro- Looked good first month, but got fed up over him by end of 04/05 season and was delighted to see the back of him when he left.
Martins- Inconsistent but still a good player in the main, would have him back now if the opportunity arose.

 

Would take Martins back over Owen anyday, he's one of the worst decisions we've ever made...

 

Keiron Dyer :- Plenty of class, just a pity that he didn't show it often enough. Blowed hot and cold just didn't work hard enough.

David Rozenhal :- We didn't really see much of him, might have fallen foul of Allardyce.

Geremi :- Absolute waste of space.

Cacapa :- As above.

Craig Bellamy :- Quite liked Bellers, pity about his personality ........... or lack of.

Nobby Solano :- Haven't got a bad word to say about Nobby, great player, great team man and great grafter.

Antoine Sibierski :- A good enough tradesman, solid and dependable.

Babayaro :- ******* **** nuff said

Obafemi Martins :- Couldn't tie Shearer's boot laces.

 

Keiron Dyer :- Awesome at times, but injuries ****ed him up. Could've played for Man United.

David Rozenhal :- Not bad, but not great.

Geremi :- Looked good at times, but he was mostly average and past it.

Cacapa :- Rubbish. Not PL standard.

Craig Bellamy :- Quality player striker on his day. Great pace, agility, ability, good finisher and his partnership with Shearer was a nightmare to control for most PL defenses. Not a very nice bloke though..



Nobby Solano :- Class. Pure class. Player and quality bloke!

Antoine Sibierski :- Decent enough, not outstanding but did his job in a good professional manner.

Babayaro :- Sometimes he was OK/Decent but most of the times he looked really average.

Obafemi Martins :- On his day, a brilliant striker. Inconsistency was his downfall though.. and he was **** in our relegation season!

 

Dyer: could and should have been top drawer, saw glimpses but injuries ruined the lad

Rozenhal: Flattered to decieve, overall was pretty gash

Geremi: beyond woeful

Cacapa: see above and x2

Bellamy: Had it all; Pace, power, THAT NIGHT!!!! and a good footie brain but unfortunatly a massive bellend who thought much too much of himself and needed a smack in the face as much as a pat on the back

Solano: one of the best and most deserving men to ever wear the shirt. LEGEND

Sibierski: did a job for a while, a proper grafter

Babayaro: massively overrated

Martins: Unpredictable, occaisionally brilliant but for a large part frustrating to watch

Owen: massive ****

 

Kieron Dyer :- When fit , a very exciting player but extremely injury prone.

David Rozenhal :- Not bad , seen worse CB's here...

Geremi :- Couldn't run to save his life , although his free kicks were decent ie goal at WHL when we raped them 4-1.

Cacapa : Woeful.

Craig Bellamy :- Fantastic player , has given me plenty of good times and was very exciting to watch. Feyenoord was brilliant. Shame he had to be a cock before he left and spoke in a bad way about Shearer. Also , always scores against us.

Nobby Solano :- ****ing legend.

Antoine Sibierski :- Didn't expect him to do so well and scored some vital goals including a very memorable one at home to Fenerbahce.

Babayaro :- Below average , but really respect him for playing just a day after his brother passed away.

Obafemi Martins :- Scores the incredible , misses the simple. Also a ****ing traitor for jumping ship.

 

Kieron Dyer :- When fit, a very exciting player but extremely injury prone and living the high life got to his head, i remember watching a BBC documentary about him and his mother called him a spoilt brat after watching it - i think that says it all.

David Rozenhal :- Crap

Geremi :- ****, too old, too slow, couldn't believe he was our set-piece taker, scored 1(?) freekick and couldn't get past the first man when taking a corner kick.

Cacapa : ****, no positional sense and was alarmingly weak for a man of his size.

Craig Bellamy :- Great player for us, its just a shame his personality got in the way of what could of been a better career

Nobby Solano :- Legend, one of are all time greats!

Antoine Sibierski :- Hard worker, gave 110% every game he played for us and scored some canny goals, i think he earned our respect and deservedly so.

Babayaro :- Crap, but a lot of respect to him for playing a day after his brother passed away and he did put in a performance against Liverpool i believe.

Obafemi Martins :- A player that i though would do a job and succeed wearing the no9 shirt but too inconsistent, had his days but ultimately, he just couldn't do it. I don't think his personality helped, going AWOL a couple of times and spending so much money on god knows what.
