To stay at Chelsea or anywhere else for that matter but mainly at Chelsea. All these managers winning things and then out they go. Just who has to do what?

it's clearly impossible to answer. I think the man wants to win everything possible in 1 season and thinks money should instanlty make that possible. Unfortunately the players and managers are just human beings. too many other factors come into play, which RA clearly doesn't consider, having made so many sackings in such a little amount of time.

Don't know myself...ask Pep Guardiola, he may have some better idea, there again Barca's new bloke is doing better than him already! <whistle>

Chelsea fans should shut up and back their chairman who has brought them many riches.

Ungrateful feckers. I feel sorry for Roman...I bet he's in bed upset at this moment thinking how he paid for so many trophies yet they complain.

This is what happens when you sell your soul for gains.

They gained so they should shut it. Fact is AVB is a better manager than RDM and a flukey CL trophy win will not cloud that fact for someone who is shrewd enough to be a billionaire.

AVB left them in 4th...RDM helped them to fall into 6th. AVB saw them out of the groups last year...as we all know in knockout football anything can happen and it did with that flukey finale.

This year RDM is on the brink of breaking the record of making Chelsea the first holders to not get out of the groups. It's no co incidence that RDM can't cut it.

    I hear you Abramovich.

Wow Spurlock, that's brutal. Spot on Roo. I wouldn't be so quick to praise RA Spurlock unless you're taking the mick. He must know that he'll run out of coaches soon if he hasn't done already. For me RDM is better off out of there and so too AVB. I just hope Levy doesn't follow RA's example straight away and go for RDM if he sacks AVB.

    <laugh> apologies TMT.

However I am not wumming. You must be prepared for this kind of behaviour from someone like RA if you are prepared to celebrate the trophies he bought. Or did morals grow overnight up there?

You have a good point there Spurlock. RDM took Chelsea down 2 places last season and was taking them down again. They've won 2 in the last 8 or something with 2 94th minute goals one being a penalty. AVB is under fire and so too Mancini. I don't know what the latter has to do as he's sitting top again and City are far more deserving of top than Chelsea in my opinion. What will Pep have to do to stay at Chelsea if he goes there? Or Benitez?

Re Guardiola. It doesn't seem that he's exactly strapped for cash, or he would have put the pressure on Barca for more money, or accepted one of the many lucrative deals he's been offered. Abramovich is probably too far gone to realise this, but his actions are more likely to have scared off the man he wants, than attracted him. I don't think Guradiola "does" 6 month appointments!

Guardiola is probably in a holding position, waiting for the Spain job to free up - naturally, our tabloid press hasn't considered this...

Guardiola is just as likely to be another Ramos as he is a success. He is steeped in Spanish football, unless Abramovich is going to buy the Barca team as well, he might have an uphill battle in the PL.

Thinking about it Barca don't have a great record in Britain anyway.

It could be Moyes, giving he's letting his contract run down - who does he think he is, a key Arsenal player?

That will be the hardest job in football.

You have to win every game, play great entertaining football, expand Chelsea's brand, reduce their ridiculous wage bill, get rid of the old player without upsetting them and do all of that without overshadowing Abramovich.
    Easy. <ok>

And all because Abramovich wants to take his yacht into the Barcelona marina with a swagger.

Possibly. But we shouldn't tell Abramovich this, and spoil all the fun. As for buying the whole Barca team, if he gets Guardiola, I'm sure he'll try!.

Any chance Terry could be on board while he recuperates?

Apparently Abramovich has now spent £86m getting rid of managers since 2004, which is more than what Everton have spent on players in the same time.

Joke club with a joke owner, the sooner Abramovich disappears out of English football the better.

I can see a time coming when Good Manager's will turn down going there, because they want to manage a football team, not take part in a circus.
