Just when you think a good cup run Is on the cards, that´s how it goes, Here today we were just undone By a Leicester side right on their toes But fair to say our recent league heights We never seemed likely to scale, Once Moro, with the goal in his sights In our first attack could only fail We never got passÃng as we can And seemed lacking in ideas too, And misunderstandings, man to man Did not help us try to break through And after last week´s dazzling showdown This was a disappointing day, But I suppose should we hit low downs Then the cup´s where we want them to stay So endeth our cup run for this year With more of a whimper, sadly, But we deserved not that much here Thankfully it´s not our priority And next week it´s home to United Where even one point would erase, The memories of a cup day blighted Such is football´s wondrous ways. Hi RBF! Very disappointed, not just at the loss, but the manner of it! Nearly all of our stalwarts failed to turn up for today's game! As I said on the match thread, if we are going to have a poor game, much better to be a cup match rather than the league! Onwards and upwards
