So I´ve read (in the press) 20 year old ANDROS TOWNSEND, a very quick winger with an eye for goal, had a tantrum with a fellow player whilst playing for Spurs res´s in a training match the other day. He was 'sent off' by the training staff & booted a bucket in frustration, he played for Millwall on loan last season (11 games 2 goals) & did a good job there by all accounts, he also WAS on the fringes of a 1st team start, but looks as if they may get rid of him. seems abit harsh to me but still. He´s got fire in his belly, he´s young, quick, plays on the wing & scores the odd goal. I think he could be a usefull player as long as he can keep his temper down abit. "look into it NP"
It´s a problem that I hope will be adressed come the Jan window. I´m off to see puss in boots with the kids... later.
We went in for him in the summer but Spurs said they wanted to keep him. He's class and has played for Spurs in the Europa League this season.
