Well I´m delighted not just with the win But the way we won too, with intent, And great for Chris Hughton who again did things right But this time can feel quite content In a one-sided first half we went in behind After pulling most all of the strings, For Bunn to have had any chance with the goal He´d have needed to have grown some wings And after they banged in one more screamer, some Were writing us off once again, But enter then Josh Murphy on centre stage Out to prove he could play with the men And by God he did in the best possible way By finding a screamer of his own, In only a few minutes out on the pitch This young lad had visibly grown Teasing, tormenting, he lifted the team And once Hooper had used his head, And levelled the scores right there at the death Watford then, were just walking dead And so it proved as pressure finally told For Hooper to notch number two, Stunningly set up by Mr. L Fer Who beautifully slid a pass through And not forgetting one Mr. M Bunn Who made some saves at crucial times, This will do wonders not just for those there And should give them all hope they can climb And I know one win, just as one defeat Doesn´t mean now that we´re back on song, But to those ´Hughton Out´folk, just remember this He gets as much right as he gets wrong. Great stuff RBF, what a match, what a comeback and full credit to Watford for the huge part they played in this spectacular!
Yep, great cup-tie Dave, and Incidentally they showed on Danish tv here A. Villa getting walloped at home, And Jed Steer in goal had a night to forget As at times he was left quite alone. They were awful, Tottenham reserves completely thumped ´em
Up to your usual standards RBF. Except for the last verse. " I know one win, just as one defeat, doesn't mean we are back on song". If defeats mean we are on song we are doing very well. Lol.
