Unfortunately I was unable to watch the match as I was in London yesterday... with a gloating Arsenal fan who just happens to be my mate.

As the train rolled into Kings Cross station and past The Emirates, we were 3-0 down and I was on the receiving end of my friend's ridicule. Anyway... we made our way to Brixton Academy for the gig we were going to and decided to grab a bite to eat to partner the beer in our bellies. Bearing in mind I was a bit drunk, I decided to check the score on my phone and was gob smacked. I thought someone had slipped absinth into my beer or something... 4-4? How?

Anyway, the tables had turned... my Arsenal supporting friend won't be forgetting my taunts and jeers any time soon. But as I say, I've only just been able to watch the MOTD highlights... and I have never heard or seen SJP like that before. It was such a magical match of two hugely contrasting halves. Just watching Tiote crack in that volley feels euphoric.

Want to live the moment all over again?

    Here's the MOTD highlights: http://www.mysoccerplace.net/video/newcastle-vs-arsenal-44-motd

p.s. what the hell was Steve Harper doing at 11:02 in that video? LMAO, that's a unique celebration... looks like something out of WWE.
